Please make a note of the following information:
Our sensory room is open to all babies , toddlers , children, young people and adults.
You can book the sensory room for private use for 1 hour, it is £15.00 for the room for up to 4 people.
The sensory room can accommodate a maximum of 4 people at a time, which includes parents, carers, or guardians..
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate one wheelchair user at a time for sensory room bookings. If there are multiple wheelchair users, please contact us in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
We have ramp access throughout, our door width is 70cm.
A portable hoist is available, If you require the hoist, please ensure you book this at booking stage and bring your own sling.
Please note that we have a toilet on site, but it is not a disabled toilet.

This is the place that every SEN family needs in their life! Went for the first time today with my autistic 5 year old and newborn baby. Tara couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. We are so lucky to have somewhere so suitable for our little boy, it's a truly non-judgemental and inclusive space. Thank you! We'll be back soon.

We are truly grateful to Sensory Haven, a place where my son truly shines, particularly in the sensory room. It feels like his sanctuary, a safe haven where he can express himself freely without fear of judgment. Tara and her incredible team are always so attentive and caring, going above and beyond to ensure that every young person's needs are met. As a foster carer to children with SEN, finding Sensory Heaven’s Lego sessions has been an absolute win. My little boy attends most Saturday mornings, and it’s been incredible to see the difference it’s made. He’s formed some lovely friendships — something he usually finds really challenging — and it’s all thanks to the supportive, inclusive environment Tara has created.
Lego is a real passion of his, so being able to attend a session that’s tailored specifically for children like him is just fantastic. Tara is amazing — warm, knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated to what she does. I would highly recommend Sensory Heaven to any parent or carer of a child with additional needs.
